Erm no :X3: .... that's straw man again.

I think the debate should go on as long as we all want as we're on a forum discussing football.

However, if you don't think that we should be able to disagree with the manager or whoever else then maybe football forums and Spurs Chat are not where you might be most comfortable (y)
Again with the passive aggressiveness suggesting I shouldn't be here? If my post(s) have triggered you so much, I suggest you put me on ignore, as I shall you, and move on as I'm not going anywhere.

For what it's worth, you're well within your rights to opine against the manager's decisions as I'm well within mine to suggest those opinions are of little worth in lieu of access to the players in training or actual direct knowledge to the manager's thought process, hence my comment about the concept of him making a point to the chairman being ridiculous.

As I think you well know I'm suggesting that you shouldn't object to a member disagreeing with the manager in an internet discussion forum based on their (likely) comparative football expertise or day to day insight.

If every time anybody criticised a manager's decision another member would object on that basis then it would be very dull wouldn't it. Only about a dozen people on the planet would be able to criticise Conté, for example. And it subtly amounts to a suppression of free speech. Should we all need to provide a footballing CV before being allowed to post ? ?

But I think you know this. If you are well within your rights to tell me that my opinion is worth little compared to his (and I would infer from that that I shouldn't provide it) then I'm well within my rights to tell you that you will probably come across this a lot and perhaps it might make you uncomfortable in a discussion forum and/or might not be for you (your cup of tea)

That is not at all the same as telling you to leave.

And I won't be putting you or anybody else on ignore based on a difference of opinion on a forum as to me that is just another form of suppression :finger:
