I disagree. If moses continues his run he will have certainly made contact with Son.

As far as I'm concerned the same way contact doesn't always mean foul, not every free kick has to have contact. If a player dives in the opponents run and doesn't make contact with the ball, that in itself could be considered a free kick.

Moses certainly made the most of it and take exception to the whole oh he should have taken a knock, why?

It was a clear penalty unfortunately and we have had our fair share of penalties this season and we can hardly talk when we have Dele.

You can justifiably blame Poch's decision to play Son at wing back, Son's stupidity, Lloris' position but choking? No.

We certainly didn't choke. Most of the players played at a very high level. Dembele for instance was the best player on the field. Eriksen was not far behind. Wanyama bossed it in midfield. Our central defenders won their individual battles and Kane and Alli scored very good goals against a strong defensive unit. There was a lot of quality performances on our side. You don't get when choking. Getting beat 5-1 at NUFC. Now that was choking. There's no point talking about the previous cup semi finals as a) most of these players did not play in those and b) as I said before, we clearly turned up today.

We were the better team today, played well. They scored with pretty much every shit, we made some pretty shocking decisions (including Poch playing Sonny at left wing back), but definitely progress.

Nkoudou substitution, Personally felt this was a strange substitution, may have been tactical but to bring someone on who's hardly played all season in a semi-final was some call.

Or was it Poch saying to Levy, they've brought on Hazard and Costa and this is what I have?

I thought Nkoudou played alright when he came on, he went past a few players.

support chelsea or city then, i could not be more proud of our team and manager with the resources available.

Poor Poch having a team like he has. Not slagging him off cos think he's fantastic but surely he must be thrilled with the 'resources' he has available. Yeah could have an option or two on bench but god what a team he has. Unless he's some lunatic who thinks we could sign Messi who the hell could we buy who'd get into this team.

The starting 11 is unreal. If he's proud of his team losing to a team who we are better than then I'd lose respect for him.

Just back from the game i will pissed off with the result but i must say the players played well. But the simple reason we lose today is the had a better bench then us and players like Hazard coming on made a lot of differents. We are not far behind them when it comes too the first 11 maybe i will say we have a better first 11 then them when everyone is fit. Everyone other football fans and pundits said can Spurs play this kind of football next seaon. Will we all know we can and we will get there soon. I can say one think i am a proud spurs fans today and will always be till the day I die.COYS i Poch we trust.Ps Sorry got a bit emotional here been drinking all day LOL up the spurs LOL

The OP said he was proud of our team, not Poch ...

A few years ago with the team we had maybe I would be proud. Not today.

At the club we've got one of the best GK in the league, the best central defence, best full back combo, best CM combo in league, one of best young players in the world, the 2nd best CAM on form and arguably the best ST in the league.

We're meant to be proud losing 4-2 cos our team cost less than there's? Fuck that. We should have won that game and it isn't good enough losing, I hope the players feel the same.

Quite, and I hope there's some anger and home truths going on in the dressing room from both manager and players, rather than basking in the "how far we've come" rhetoric.

It's the attitude of not accepting second best we need to become winners.

No not every time we lose a match. Every single time we lose an important match. Again and again and again
But that's the thing - every match has been important for months. These players have been chasing Chelsea down with the pressure that one loss would end it.

A few years ago we couldn't beat the dross - now we are caning them. Before that we couldn't beat big teams at home, we now do that well.

We know need a bit more nouse away from home in big matches - and a smattering of more quality wouldn't hurt .

Nothing is broken here, it's just a matter of learning and getting better and wiser.

It can only be a choke if we play poorly or miss easy chances or panic in possession. Don't think we did any of those things - son's challenge was him playing out of position not "choking".

In fact I thought we showed incredible resilience to come back twice and totally take over the game. Not the sign of a choking side at all. There's nothing you can do about two blinding goals except hope you get one yourself.

Tbh I think he has a good game. If one of our defenders had put in that performance and we had won we would have been all over him.

He had a good game alright but should not be on the pitch as he committed too many fouls.

Lot of idiots in herr tonight. Sorry but it has to be said.

In a cup-game with two teams, one will lose.

To go on about this meaning we will never win anything, and that we don't have the mentality is just utter shit...!

How does mentality prevent matic from scoring that goal?

Get a grip.
A-fucking-men

I don't agree with blaming Poch although I do think he made two crucial decisions which were in the wing back roles. You just play your best players and that meant Walker on the right and if Davies is injured then you play a different formation or play Wimmer at cb with Verts on the left.

We lost it due to the defensive part of the game as our attack was good albeit not clinical at times.

I didn't leave early either, but if people want to do that that's up to them. Maybe they are fed of if watching there team choke again after the 4th goal goes in
How do you figure that we choked after the fourth goal? How is that logical? In any case, we almost scored a goal at the end. That's the difference from last year: we kept on playing and didn't lose our heads.
