I don't get it, they get good chances with just 5 passes.
Us? we string 10 passes and still moving around the middle of the park. It's like Ronaldo's stepover, lots of movement but fucking useless.
Because they have space to move these passes into. We don't. We are trying to play our natural game, Conte (as always) sets his team to sit deep and wait for a moment to attack when we have over committed.

We don't need to fucking come out at them second half, this is exactly what they want. We've been given the gift of a goal so let's use it to our advantage. A draw is no good for them so let's keep it tight and maybe see if we can nick another one late on. Game management please Poch.

For the sake of the defence. We are not getting anything from this game if we continue with the same tactical shape.

Where would Lamela fit into a 3-5-2?

It's not that he's playing badly but that the team is playing badly.

I get what you are saying but he’s a tackler a fighter. He’ll give 100%.
We just need to tighten that midfield. Dier and Moussa need to take control.

We've played it around nicely enough but not enough in the last third. Need more penetration and movement in behind. Eriksen, Lamela and Alli are mostly doing the same thing. Would like to see Moura on.

Terry Handball spent more time talking about Juninho than Eriksen. BBC are saying Caballero should have saved it. Wouldn't have any of this guff if Hazard scored a goal like that.

Gotta assume that poch will tinker and point out a few things that change the game. Can't be worse this half

Ah Lloris in big games strikes again.

Take that at half time after that shit shower first half. Eriksen is different level.

We can’t be any worse second half.

That wasn't a terrible half of football, just Chelsea being very cute, well drilled and playing to their strengths and our weaknesses. It was a very tight tussle with us pushing against a bus park team, but one with a very talented counter threat.

Unfortunately our forwards were at their bumbly worst for much of it, which is often what happens when they are forced to operate under the squeeze of a deep block, and our two CM's have been fucking awful, ponderous with the ball, careless at times, and like turtles in a fucking windsock when Chelsea have countered.

I'd really like to see Wanyama on for Dier, drop Eriksen properly into a 433 or even Wanyama on for Lamela, drop Dier into a CB3, and go 3421 and make the pitch a bit wider , whilst blocking off their WB's.

The goal was genuinely unlucky, the one controllable that could have been better was Davies getting out and closing him a bit quicker maybe. Don't blame Lloris for coming and don't think it would have helped if he didn't and don't think Sanchez could do any better.

Thank fuck for Eriksen.
What??

Juninho Pernambucano is a name i haven't heard in a while. Unbelievable player.

You've just heard it enough times to last another 10 years. Only about one mention of Eriksen and it was his bloody goal!

Unbelievable goal from Eriksen. We've been cack, but then we've battered them every other time we've played them recently and still lost so maybe that's what it takes!
