So, three horses were euthanised yesterday and it was said to be very unusual, as they weren't injured when actually jumping. I hate when this happens, as I'm sure you all do.
I believe all had bad fractures but I wonder why they can't receive surgery and treatment and be given away to charities willing to care for them if they can never race again. Is it all about the money or are they so highly bred for racing that they can never recover enough to live out the rest of their lives in comfort?
I really hope today will be injury and fatality free.
