Congrats to young Chris, and also to former Spurs player Simon Davies, named Senior Player of the Year.

Many thanks to SC Member and Cardiff native Kaboulio for the news.

(Couldn't find any pics of the event, please post if you do).

hod's biggest single selection blunder at spurs

dropping an in-form Davies for the lge cup final at the millenium stadium cardiff for a half-fit dazza

That one will haunt me till my memory goes

Well done to them, I hope Chris gets more and more games. He is too good to be overlooked for someone being played out of position

Well done you Gunt.

Amazing how bad news threads go on for pages and pages but a good news thread is like a ghost town.

I think while Hutton is out CG is our best option at right back, he is only going to get better the more games he plays I feel.

I'm glad for young Gunter. Already a good player, and could, with a bit of guidance, really blossom.

Well done Gunts!

He's got enough ability to make our right back spot his own in a couple of years.

Just looking on his wiki

As a youngster he attended Durham Road Junior School before moving on to St Julian's High School as a teenager. He also followed Cardiff City, along with his brother Marc, as a supporter and continued to go to away games on supporters coaches up until 2006. He is currently sharing an apartment with his welsh team mate and fellow Spurs player Gareth Bale in london. Chris enjoys watching all kinds of TV programmes when time permits. His current favourites include Songs of Praise, Have I Got News For You, and housewives' favourite, Loose Women. When Chris is lonely, he reverts back to childhood days where he enjoys building Jenga towers and playing with his gold plated abbacus.

 haha

They only did that about an hour ago!! Anyone on here want to own up?! (Anyway, I dont think he shares an apartment with Bale, he used to let Ramsey (from that club who shall remain nameless) stay with him, not sure if he still does. Don't hate him for it, he was just helping out a mate. He rooms with Bale on international trips though.)

Aw, cheers for going to all the trouble of scanning that for us!

It's really nice to read such positive comments too about a young player who is very talented, and we should make the most of.

Glad for him but I am yet to be convinced hes gonna make it. He looks awesome for the U21s at CB but he looks distinctly average for us at FB

I think he looks like a proper full back. More solid than Bale imo.

I think he looks a brilliant full-back, but not a wing-back. He doesn't push on as much as Bale, but Bale pushes on too much for a FB.
