Not strictly Spurs chat but was one of our own. SSN reporting Chris Hughton has just been sacked.

What chance him coming home in some capacity or other?

Edit: now confirmed by the club.

Are you fucking kidding?

Shambolic decision by Newcastle if true, chasing the big names instead of sticking with the steady hand. They'll regret this.

Shocking decision....Chrissy has done a very good job at a shit club.

I'd welcome him back at the Lane in some capacity.

I guess it should've been expected with Newcastle though.

I bet they sell Carroll in January to the highest bidder.

i thought this could happen before Sunderland or Arsenal match, but in fact, their season suffered a lot of ups and downs, for me, i could share opinion with their reckless owner Mike Ashley as Houghton isn't the right man to take them forward, but to be fair with Chris .. most teams in this season suffered ups and downs, including talanted squads like Chelsea, City and us.

i think they could regret it if they can't find the right man ..

What a joke Newcastle are. Hughton took them up at the first time of asking, he has got Andy Carroll into the England Squad, they are 11th in the league and he gets sacked. A sad state of affairs and completely typical of Mike Ashley.

I now really hope that Newcastle get relegated so that Hughton can stick 2 fingers up at them. He deserved a lot better.

fingers crossed they will go straight back down, would serve them right for thinking that the person who got them up wasnt good enough to have a go at keeping them up either.

Nothing like gratitude in the game is there.

they are 4 points off 18th, but also only 4 points off 6th!

A Couple of poor results, but overall he had been doing a good job with them IMO.
