CL squad update due tonight

Following on from the 25 man squad topic, the CL rules state:

For all matches from the start of the round of 16, a club may register a
maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the
current competition. Such registration must be completed by
1 February 2011 (24.00 CET) at the latest. This deadline cannot be
extended.


So, Keano, Bentley, O'Hara and GDS off... but we can only add 3.

Woody, Sandro, Khumalo and Pienaar. Who will miss out?

Not poor old Sandro again? I think euro footy will suit him more than the PL at the moment.

One because he may well be crocked again by then.

The other because it's a big ask to step up that far that quickly.

it will be center half who will miss out khulamo. has to be. we are desperatley short in middle of field and sandro simply has to be put in.

I have felt that at times, but then again I do think Harry is being fair with Sandro. He is getting chances, he's just been unlucky. I think we'll see him a few more times this season.

Hope so. He was awesome in the Internacionale games I watched - a Copa Libertadores winner, at the moment more suited to that kind of game and why I think he should get a chance in the CL.

pretty sure it will be Kumalo that misses out - there are no defenders coming off the list so one addition will suffice and we need the extra midfielder especially with Hudd's injury

22 in March. Anyway, he has not been with us long enough to qualify (different rules than the PL list)

I'm sure ITK's have said that Harry's been really happy with Sandro and his attitude so far, and thinks he could go on to become a top, top player for us.

As others have said, he's had chances but been very unlucky. I disagreed with him being the one sacrificed when Daws was sent off but I don't think that means that Harry doesn't "want him".

I keep seeing people post this, but didn't both Harry and Sandro say they they didn't expect him to play much this season to let him settle in to England?

Does a player b list need to submitted ? or can that be anyone who qualifies ?

during the season.

17.14 A player may be registered on List B if he is born on or after 1 January 1986
and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted
period of two years since his 15th birthday by the time he is registered with
