At Chelsea there could be problems for Kline with naming rights unless a completely new stadium was built , the Chelsea Pitch Owners PLC might object to Stamford Bridge name being changed . Stadium names like Stamford Bridge, Old Trafford , Anfield, Villa Park etc are part of football club heritage pretty sure many fans of those clubs would object to any name changes.

I think they’re safe enough judging by his recent record.

Teared up reading the statement. The emotion that oozed out from it. It was like Kane leaving all over again.

Gardening leave suggests we are making him work his notice period before he can join Chelsea but don’t want him anywhere near the club. Sounds like we don’t trust him.

Losing Kane is bad, but it's even more gutting when you lose the commercial officer that you've only heard of him for the first time in the announcement that he's left.

he did a great job, renaming the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, he will do well at Chelsea.

i wonder what his paid and if I can have his old job?

Gets Chelsea a 100 million naming rights package spread over 3 millennia !!!

stadium naming rights money sounds a bit like the emperors new clothes. Lots of marking people tell you it’s gonna look great really it’s nothing.

I could see Chelsea getting someone to sponsor the stadium because they are in the corrupt the oil world

Its pretty standard when leaving a job for a competitor. They have a notice period but you want to restrict the information they can take. So they are not allowed to work for the competitor until the notice period finishes and they are not allowed to discuss anything / get files from their current job (or at the extreme end cause any damage) that might be useful for the competitor.

I have often looked at jobs at the competition of my work places so I can have a few months off not doing anything :)
