So with the consultant getting fired for aiding West Ham while being employed by th e OPLC board, does that help us in judicial review. Or is that a separate thing?

I agree with you 100 % . This moving to Stratford campaign was a complete obsession for Levy , something to hide behind when we didn't sign a striker and have not signed one worthy of the name since Berbatov left. Oh well , we can't compete unless we move to Stratford. In most businesses if the CEO or Chairman makes something the basis for the entire future of the club and has no plan B then when it doesn't happen they pay the price by losing their jobs.

I am fed up with the love -in that exists here for Levy. Yes, he did a good job in stabilizing the club and running it at a profit. But we had a huge opportunity to move to the next level when we got into the CL and the team and Harry did us proud by their performances. The fact is that Levy blew that opportunity by yet again failing to bring in the striker that could have kept us there and now we are paying the price with the Modric situation. On top of that he now refuses to make any funds available until players are sold which to me simply confirms that he didn't try too hard to bring in a striker in January because nothing has changed since then except... Oh yes I forgot, we are no longer in the CL. Stratford is not going to happen so let it go.

Sorry if I am guilty of yet another cheap shot at Levy as people on here like to say but that is my opinion and I will stick to it unless and until I see something in our transfer activity to make me think otherwise.

In that bolded bit above, I'm afraid you've shown you don't really understand how a business works. Levy is the Chairman because along with his business partner Joe Lewis he is the largest shareholder in the company. In business, if you own something - as opposed to being employed by someone - you don't sack yourself.

The whole process was rotten to the core as evidenced by today's suspension by the OPLC of one of their employees who was providing paid consultancy services to Wet Spam during the bid process.

Quite frankly the OPLC process make FIFA look a model of transparency and honesty.

The other thing that stinks is the outright lies vis-a-vis the Newham loan. It is illegal state assistance under EU law so to get around they have maintained they haven't committed to it yet, but if their loan isn't a available then Wet Spam can't fund the stadium and should be precluded from even entering a bid.

Stinks like a Qatari World Cup.

Didnt we lose the stadium in a 14-0 vote??? I just cant see how we will win this. BUT I really really hope we do...and maybe that is what Levy is doing too? Never give up...To dare is to do...and so on!

From what I understand there are 3 ways we could win.

1) get the stadium (very doubtful)
2) get a return of the money's we spent (most likely as West Ham were told exactly what to say to win)
3) put pressure on government to help pave the way for the NPD. (maybe)

If I was the club I'd be putting in a FOI request for all the minutes of every meeting the OPLC held to see who was encouraging what precisely and also what sensitive information might have been helpfully passed to West Ham during the process.

Lol at this btw:

"An Olympic Park Legacy Company director has been suspended after revealing she had been working as a paid consultant for West Ham.

The woman, who is not being named, was suspended on Friday with immediate effect while the potential clash of interests is investigated. She alerted the OPLC of the situation on Thursday night."

http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11675_7013871,00.html?

There's basically only two women on the board and if we assume that it's not the Chairman Baroness Ford (if it was then the process would be truly screwed) then it can only be Liz McMahon - http://www.legacycompany.co.uk/about-us/our-board/liz-mcmahon/

It's strange that the media haven't just come out and named her though, if a numpty like me can work it out in half a minute or so then they must have too. I wonder what their game is?

Could this woman be Brady ? She isn't an owner of WHUFC but works for those 2 punks.....Maybe she has been working for the 2012 team since before she joined West Ham ?

There's someone more obvious and even more explosive if true. Someone with previous corruption associations (linked to Berlusconi).

Was this person a director or employee of the OPLC?

According to Sky she was a director, I can't see a direct quote from the OPLC saying that, but you'd have thought Sky would have done a bit of homework.

I'm still here, and still right.

:stupid:

You can only still be right if you were right in the first place. And that is yet to be proven.

Even if what you predict will happen actually happens it doesn't mean you were right in relation to what Azrael has been saying anyway, because you have totally missed the point of what he is saying and you are arguing at cross purposes to him.

Just because myself, yourself and countless others don't have a degree in law doesn't mean that we are incapable of having an opinion.

Everyone is capable of having an opinion, but that does not mean it's necessarily a good one.

You may be capable of making a baby, but that in itself does not make you a good father.
