We've clearly shifted to Emerson. Maybe Nuno sees Tomiyasu as too similar to Tanganga, (ie RB/CB hybrid) and with Japhet's fine start to the season, he'd rather a different style of player.

Yeah I'm with @14/04/91 . He is very similar to Tanganga. I suspect our interest waned at the final whistle vs City. Emerson brings something different to the table by all accounts. Nice options at FB with Tanganga and Emerson on the right and Reg and Davies on the left.

It also speaks a lot to Tangangas attitude. He is on record as saying he wants to play at CB, but has turned down a loan move and put in some great work in the 3 games he's played at RB so is clearly happy to play there if it gets him games and helps the team.
