That bit in bold is debatable. I recognise its significance and the unusual set of circumstances but as you point out we are not involved and there are any number of games that could affect our placing over the course of the season.

Well right now it's the most important game of our season - or to put it another way - it's the only game left that can define how successful our season has been.

I agree with you though on the point about being pissed off. It's a joke that we are in this position. I can already hear Harry's excuse if Chelsea win..

"Well we had a 'triffic season really. You can't get much higher than 4th. I can't even count higher than 4 anyway so I guess that means we finished top. Nobody could have known former Champions League finalists Chelsea would win the tournament. 'Triffic team Chelsea - they deserve Champions League football more than them - and by 'them' I mean Spurs. Lovely jubbly. As good as it gets. 'Triffic."

Just had a thought, what if it was Arsenal vs Chelsea in the final and we had to depend on Arsenal to get a result? Would anyone be brave enough to change their avatar or sig to an Arsenal badge?

*shudder*

A horrible thought...but an interesting one. Would it be the only day in Spurs history where we'd have been rooting for the scum to win?

I could root for them to win but I wouldn't enjoy it, changing my avatar and sig to an Arsenal badge would definitely be a step to far!

I think I'd be hoping for both teams to be disqualified after a mass brawl.

Yeah I could well imagine he will say something along those lines.

My fear is that Bayern have been shaken up by the Dortmund game. Defensively they are vulnerable, particularly to quick counters. This isn't a mentally strong Bayern team. However, with Chelsea's key suspensions I think they'll still do us a favour.

Or a wounded animal? Lets not forget, despite losing a few players for this final, they beat Madrid over two legs - and they've been unstoppable this season.

They can beat a Chelsea side at home who are missing three very significant players.

Is there such thing as football bulimia?

I'd have to make myself sick after cheering every goal.

It's not your usual set of circumstances though. I understand your point on the Arsenal v West Brom game, but this is the biggest game of our season. The fact that we're not playing in it doesn't lessen the significance of the result for Tottenham.

This

TBH I am probably just pissed off that we have to depend on the outcome of this game to get into the CL.

Heart of the Matter :)

Oh, if only Marton Fulop hadn't been a cack handed twat

Because I am!

This is Tottenham we're talking about. The most unluckiest team in the world!

I fear it is written in the stars and we will see that scumbag Terry lifting the cup.

I fear it will be a horrible horrible day.

I'm lumping a ton on chelsea to soften the blow!

I'm usually a positive kind of guy, but I've had that feeling from the moment they were paired with Barca. I could see all the stars aligning
