Yeah, would imagine it's a late set up inside - although it also sounds like overzealous ticket checks too (not sure if an outside company runs all that, as it sounds completely different to the usual match day process).

Either way, lessons to learn and potential teething problems - but also Guns 'n' Roses are pretty notorious for being late so....

Can confirm drinks in seats are fine. Feels strange having a beer in my seat but floor is dripping with spilt drinks so can see why we don’t do it for football games

Massive queue outside was for standing area where they’re directing everybody through one gate for some reason rather than make use of all the south stand entrances.

They never come on on time. I remember being at reading festival a decade ago and they were nearly 2 hours late to come on stage. We went off and watched another act, got more drunk and came back ready to boo them on for being late. They were great though.

Well it’s nothing to do with the stadium. The PA in the stadium is unbelievable music before games is amazing. So it’s guns n roses sound system.

I've seen a few people say that the problem seems to be the acoustics of the stadium rather than the sound system, like the sound is bouncing around in a weird/unpleasant way.

I saw them at the Olympic Stadium a few years back. The sound was appalling there, too.
Personally, I don’t think they actually have enough system with them. I thought the same at the Spammers ground.

Guess I’ll find out tomorrow, as I’m going.

Conversely, Rammstein last weekend at the Ricoh sounded fucking unreal. The subs nearly knocked you over
