I don't know much about Todd Boehly, no idea how him and Poch will tune in to get them running again, but I can't help but see him and think that he's the type of person Mike Ashley wants to be. Bloke looks like he enjoys a drink but wouldn't end up trying too hard and being sick in a fireplace.

He was outstanding against Fulham. Heard Lampard on Sky talking about how hard of a worker and professional he was in training. Seems to fit Ange’s profile perfectly. Hope we can revisit this signing and we haven’t missed our chance now that he is playing so much for Chelsea.

I think it will depend on how much FFP shit Chelsea are in and whether they get the Saudis to buy a load more rubbish off them for stupid amounts. I personally think it's likely that exactly what will happen.

They'll sell him, but they might be looking for slightly more money than last summer.
I think they have to make 120m clear profit per year to pay for their current amorotised players.
If they buy anymore (they will) that figure goes up.
They could be alright for this year as they did sell Mount and Hall for 80-100m combined, which is pure profit on the books, plus others which would probably bring their book profit to 120m, but if they don't get CL next year things will start getting tenuous, and they'll need to sell more Academy graduates.
I like Gallagher but he's not Messi, so they might sacrifice him.

Not saying it’s a barometer of their ability or potential, but it is an indication of the threadbare nature of our squad that we have basically no one to bring on when seeking an equalizer
