The negativity on here is why people still see us as a small club. Thankfully Pochettino and co have done their best to eradicate the loser mentality and have instilled a winning attitude. Sure we're going to lose the odd game here and there but the reaction to our fifth loss of the season on here is embarrassing.

It was a topic of debate on a podcast which I thought I'd pose on this forum so I think the comparison with 'mind the gap' is harsh to say the least.

We need to finish above Arsenal. Our performance today was really concerning. After such a pumped up performance against Chelsea I was shocked to see how half arsed we performanced. They've now completely left the door open for Arsenal now.

Finishing below them would be fucking insufferable.

I agree 100 % with Poch that we need to get away from our small club mentality about where Arsenal finish. Finishing 3rd would still be a great season and the reality is that both 2nd and 3rd get you to the group stage of CL. Of course we all want second but I wouldn't worry too much about some stick from gooners. Chelsea's massive celebration about stopping us winning the title ( which wasn't going to happen even if we had won ) by holding us to a draw on their pitch showed real small time mentality. Let's rise above that. Finishing 2nd or 3rd offers us a great opportunity for next season and whichever one it is I will be happy with what we have achieved. A huge step forward.
