Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has hinted that he could potentially give Pape Matar Sarr his first start for Spurs tonight.

The North Londoners head to Crystal Palace in pursuit of their first win since the World Cup.

Tottenham have picked up just one point since the Premier League season resumed after the tournament in Qatar.

With Bentancur out, Bissouma suspended and the 343 formation failing repeatedly I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Skipp, Hojbjerg and Sarr in MF. Kulusevski's most likely out too, at least as a starter. I don't think it's any gesture of trust from Conte but more a case of being backed into a corner.

We need to sign more of these corners, is there one that we could back him into to force a 4:3:3?

Hardly gives him any meaningful minutes all season and now will be expected to deliver. This is fully a "square peg, round hole " scenario from AC to force Levy to spend. I hope Sarr does well but I'm not expecting much due to lack of playing time.
