No but it is his home. It's a bit of a shit choice to be honest, I think it would be best to retire if they were the only options- and they have scumbag fans.

Plus he has been quite vocal how his wife and kids live there, and he wants to see them grow up, take them to school etc.

I think if Citeh don't let him come here, he will just jack in the professional, and concentrate on the personal.

with all due respect Wales were playing Luxembourg.....

But it's not as if he only plays that well against the lesser sides. I think in terms of big game performances last season he did better than any of our players and this is despite the fact some of our players had really good games against the Sky 4. No matter how well Modders and Bale performed against Chelsea or Gomes against Arsenal, I still think Bellamy's games against Utd and Chelsea were better. It's rare you see an individual player really rip into sides of that quality the way Bellamy did. Those who don't like his attitude have to repsect the fact that his percieved cockiness is what allows him to show no respect and thus no intimidation when he plays the best teams.

Harry said they wont sell him to us

Why dont we get Cardiff to buy him then sell him to us? We could chuck in a few loans to them from the youth squad.
And don't think it hasn't happened before, Clive Allen went from QPR to Palace via Arsenal without playing a competetive game for Arse. Dodgy business all round also involved Kenny Samson

What happens if Bellamy refuses to sign for anyone and is then left out of City's 25 man squad (Mancinni has confirmed today he wont be in it)? Isn't there are rule saying he can buy out his contract or something like that? I think it might be hard for City to stop him joining us.

I think I'd actually rather keep Keane than sign this big-mouth tosser - and that is saying something!

Total farce and shows what a disgrace football is becoming.

At least partly Bellamy's fault though, given he signed for them in the first place, i think anyone who's joined City since the new money has come in deserves what they get.

One really daft question here though, if teams have to hand in a 25 man squad for the season, and the season starts tomorow so teams will be having them in soon, when or how or can teams change the players in there 25 man squad? ( i dont know how this 25 man squad and homegrown player thing works)

Is it possible for a team like City to buy as many players as they like and then lend them to weaker teams in the league.
That means they strengthen the teams that face their rivals but they never have to play against those players because they are on loan from them.
Are there any limits on how many players a team can send out on loan?

Just a thought on this whole Bellamy saga.

Surely if the club he has a contract with don't want him to play for them then he is free to choose who he goes to, so long as the club that want him put in a market value offer for the player?? Otherwise it would be against his basic human rights, wouldn't it.

I mean I have a contract with my employer but I am free to choose where I want to work next. Right?

Do we have any employment lawyers who can shed any light on this?

Has anyone wondered about the fact that City might not want to sell to us because we play them in the first game of the season?

Common sense would dictate that you are not going to strengthen a team you are in competition with until after you have played them, especially if they score a winning goal. It's the sort of thing that could cost a manager his job.

I'll be interested to see what happens next week regarding Bellamy and Richards.

As I understand it, they can say - choose anyone ANYone BUT Tottenham. Why would they sell to us. Would we sell to them? I have no quarrel with that. It's fair and if Bellamy doesn't want to go to Fulham, then that's his problem.
I would love to see him at the Lane, but after we knocked them out of the CL race, who could blame them for not wanting to speak to us and strengthen us.

He may not be required by them, but they know he is a good player who would impove us.

Nothing about human rights, but Man City OWN him as far as his contract is concerned.
