Will it not be on at all? I think they sometime put the football on in the little side bar? I might give them a call later, I love the Bot for watching any sport.

Yeah they'll put in on in the front bar, but it will be rammed though, main bar will def be the rugby. They might open upstairs actually. With City playing Pool early on there could be a right few out on Sunday.

I remember when the rugby world cup was on, about 2011, Spurs were playing Arsenal same time, we were in the Bot, there must've been maybe 5 people occupying the entire main bar for a meaningless game with 2 dicky sides on, fuckers had a tv each, then about 150 of us had to squeeze into the front bar crammed around a 24" tv lol. I asked the bar man if he could put the footy on one of the main screens and he said no chance lol was ridiculous to be fair but it is a rugby bar first and foremost.

Hmm ... lots of suggestions for Belfast. It's a bit of a track from Scariff, though, to be fair. Come on all you Limerick SCers, where are you??

When I am in Belfast and we are on telly I usually watch it in the Bot too, there always seems to be members of a Belfast Spurs supporters club there.

Aargh! I've just realised the Cup Final clashes with the rugby. For those of us lucky enough to live in Ireland, this is a bit of an issue. Nobody much interested in Spurs over here (or Chelsea), but lots of interest in the rugby. My chances of watching the football in any of my local pubs are less than zero, I'd say. Any SCers in Limerick (or Ennis) know of a Spurs-friendly pub, by any chance??

Limerick's a big rugby town as well, I'd say the Evergreen in Cork will have it on, I haven't been there myself in ages but there will be spurs fans in there, not much good for you either I suppose, but closer than Belfast.

Best of luck I with your search, egg chasing should be over by half time in the football, but you might be better off trying to stream it or borrow someone's Sky Go.

Does Anthony Daly own a pub in Ennis ?, I'm sure he's a spurs fan so while it's a long shot, might be worth checking out.

Can't find any reference to him being a Spurs fan, but I'll take your word for it. Seems he owns a pub (but doesn't run it any more) - Murty Browne's in Tullycrine. Checked their Facebook and there's loads of references to the Ireland v England game, but not a single mention of Spurs. So I think we know what that means ...

Sorry about that, it was a long shot I suppose.

The Still House on Thomas street is apparently a spurs pub, they have a few TVs so it should be on one of them. Got this from a friend of mine who lives in Limerick but is a big Arsenal fan, he's genuine enough though. Hope it helps and enjoy the game, COYS

Ah, that's a great tip, 67. I've just FBed them, so we'll wait and see what they say.

wow , this thread amazes me.... an hour or so flight from england and you are struggling to find somewhere to watch it.. here in australia football is the 4th sport. However we have a spurs supporters club sold out 120 tickets available just for us at a local football teams clubhouse.. and we are on the other side of the world , Surely you have a supporters club or a meet up of some sort!

I'll watch the Rugby live ( not sure if I will go to my local pub yet) and record the football so watch on an hour delay and fast forward through HT

Need to make sure no one tells me the score during the 2nd half of the Rugby though, which will be tricky and means I cannot use my phone.

Hopefully Ireland will be 20+ points ahead in the Rugby by HT so I can watch all the football live, or I might take my ipad to the pub
