It was kind of sad seeing a bunch of middle-aged guys acting like they're hard men.
Stick a pot belly on them and a head full of impotent rage about never playing football to any reasonable standard as was their only desire in life and you have...the average 'hooligan'.

That would impress me, had I not worked with as chap a few years ago who was also a Nigerian Prince, who used to send motivational speeches back on cassettes to his people in his village.

Over here he was a delivery driver for tnt and had part shares in a cab firm.

Could you ask him if he's received the money I sent? I'm still awaiting what he promised.......

"Fash" refers to the Crazy Gang as "the brothers I never had". That's "Fash" as in John Fashanu, brother of the more talented Justin.
Not sure if it was intentional but that comment playing over his adoptive mum, who was clearly a liberal, loving parent, telling him and his brother that they should be proud of their ethnicity and strive to be better, seemed exceptionally callous.

As someone who lives in Milton Keynes and tires of the idealising and revisionism that goes on in relation to the real Wimbledon, it has amused me no end that those closely connected to the club whose identity was robbed and moved up the M1 10 years ago can't seem to agree on what that identity was.

As a side note when I read Martin Samuel's piece criticising the documentary I tweeted about the irony of Martin Samuel of all people moaning about a piece of journalism allowing itself to be warped and distorted by a over-emphasising a single perspective.

The tweet got 1 RT: by a fella called Adam Darke

The same Adam Darke who produced the documentary.

I really don't get this comment, it doesnt make a fucking a difference about the identity of wimbledon

The move was a disgrace and they could of easily just gone up through the leagues and probably caught up by now to where they are
