Our next 4 league games are massive after our last 2 losses.

Sunderland (home)
Wigan (home)
Villa (away)
Everton (away)

and then United in the cup.

The reality is that we were unlucky against Stoke, played well against Everton and then truly shit today.

It shouldn't be all doom and gloom, if we can win our next 2 home games then we can go into those 3 difficult away games with more confidence.

COYS!!

In general Harry has been nothing but good for our club, please let's not let the understandable emotions of todays debacle cloud our judgement.

With Luka,Jermain and Lennon back and hopefully we will be back to our strength. I can see us picking 9 points .. But lets take each game at a time. I will get shot for this, but today I saw the gulf between us and Arsenal. However, time to focus and move forward !:grin::grin:

there's a degree of logic behind it.

Defoe back from suspension, Lennon fit (hopefully!) and the long awaited return of Modders

unlikely i bet, but i think as long as we dont have to suffer any small time tactics for redknapp for any of those away games, and defoe back hopefully puttin an end to the long balls, im confident we can win them all

Would you rather take 4/5 wins from those fixtures and a loss in the carling cup or 2 wins and a draw and a victory at Old Trafford in the cup?

I think I would have to go for the league wins also, Carling cup finals are great...but if we want to progress we need to do something in the league.

The Europa league just doesnt do it for me, we need to somehow get in the CL (easier said than done I know) but I feel we will just be treading water by having poor league campagins and better cup runs.

With the exception of getting beat 3-0 the rest of the results have been kind to us. Sunderland, Villa, Liverpool and Everton all failing to win. Let's hope Brum bum the man city scum, that rhymes.

I have been saying for a while that we have been lucky to get the results we have in some of our fixtures (and as was pointed out with much glee by Andy Grey yesterday - yes we have one 3 games away from home - but they are now the bottom 3 teams in the league) And yesterday highlighted the gulf between us and the top 4, as did the Chelsea, Man U games! You also notice Chelsea went to Bolton yesterday and put 4 past them, and we kept going on about how a draw was a great result at Bolton - that is the difference..............yes it was good..........for us

As I said, we are getting better, and with Modric, Lennon and Defoe playing, I think we will have a real go at 5th this year - But if we are to make 5th, we have to win games like Stoke at home.

Some tough tests coming up, Villa and Everton and after that we still need to face City - I think this is where we will gauge ourselves - Luckily I have not been gauging us against the top 4 (like some)because I knew it wasn't realistic - Hopefully we will all start to concentrate on that 5th place now - there are some big teams trying to get it, Liverpool could even be one of them, so tough ask for our new and growing team!

It was not nice sitting to all the media saying the equivalent to Spurs fans of "I told you so" but as usual some of us needed that wake up call. Yesterday the alarm bell was ringing loud in our ears.

here is hoping Modders, Lennon and Woody are back soon, and of course Defoe will be back next week!
