So it got me thinking, what's everyone's favourite 'David vs Goliath' cup story?

So it got me thinking, what's everyone's favourite 'David vs Goliath' cup story?

When we won it in 1901, of course.

As far as recent years go, Exeter drawing against Man United and effectively getting out of debt and gaining two promotions with the money they got from that tie and the replay stands out as a great story. Shows how the money the minnows can gain from such ties can be put to good use.

My home town Hayes (now Hayes & Yeading United) beating Fulham 2 nil at Craven Cottage in 1991.

For months after at Church Road there was a guy that, whenever the ref awarded a decision to the opposite team, would shout

"WHAT'S THE MATTER REF? BORN IN FULHAM?"

York City are my 2nd team so naturally I loved that one...
