How some people do not have King in their favourite list, I simply do not know.

How so many people have Zokora in their 5, I simply do not know either

Yeah great bloke, nice song, good little jig at the end of the game etc etc but do me a favour. Like Freund a few years ago!

1-King
2-Modric
3-Woodgate
4-Corluka
5-Hutton

Im sure players like Bale, Dos Santos, Hudd and Gomes could well end up in there.

I don't know about you but when I have a favourite player it isn't necessarily the best player. I've always liked Zoko - partly because I like his determination and passion for the game, his quirkiness eg when penalties are being taken, his versatility and the fact that you get the feeling he really loves it here and would like to stay forever. Also I waited behind once for autographs and he stood patiently with his arm round me for about three minutes while my camera wouldn't work and he kept on smiling (though not as much as I did...)

All these things go to make a great bloke and the sort who gets a place in my heart even if he isn't the best player on our books. Having said that, I also think he's a great player and would be gutted if he left.

I am one of those that hopes we see Taarabt get some chances this season & develops into the player that he ineveitably will become if he leaves the club for europe. See El Hamdaoui in Holland (He admittedly suffered with injuries whilst with us).

5. Zokora...........:-o

Modric has to be number 1 in my opinion, because he's found his form, is constantly proving his doubters wrong almost every game, looks genuinely happy to play for us and is just quality on the ball - this guy is only going to get better!

King - GOD, not other explanation needed

Corluka - i've picked him over Woody, because Corluka has played RB, CB, a sweeper'ish role and as an extended Midfielder role, and has basically proved to be solid in all positions. Love the composure that he has too, plus, he's got quick feet for a defender. Just pipped Woody to the 3rd slot

Lennon - because in my oppinion we could be seeing the return of the OLD Lennon that won his way into the WC Squad, and terrified every defender he played against. C'mon Lemon!!

Zokora - OK OK!!! Let me explain my choice here! Zokora has made my top 5 because he is finally beginning to show what he can do as a defensive, all-out-hussling, ball-tracking, terrier of a midfielder! I know he's not the finished article, and i know that many thing he's a total donkey, but he has played some blinders under Harry so far and i think he's gonna get better!! Plus, he's even getting closer to the goal - he might find the net soon!!! :)

Right......let the slating begin!! lol :)
