Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou will be 'confident' that he can add 'two more defenders of very high quality' to his squad this summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

Source: Football Fancast

Jones told FFC: "It’s not ideal to be this close to the new season and still have no new centre back through the door because at the moment, Spurs really do look like they might be a bit fragile in defence. But it will happen. It needs to change but as far as I am aware, Ange has been assured that he will have top-drawer players coming into the club in that position. By the end of the window, he will have two more defenders of very high quality to pick from; that’s What I am hearing. Tottenham are making sure they maintain talks with key targets in that sense and are confident the squad will be in a good place by the time the window closes."

This is the same drawer he keeps the dildos in that he fucks our managers with.
I'm genuinely surprised that anybody would agree to work for Levy. His reputation must have spread throughout the football world by now. Yes, I know that Postecoglou's salary is probably a few times what Celtic were paying him, but does the salary justify the grief of having Levy always interfering with the football side of the club's business?

Why all the cynicism?

Surely we trust Danny to come through on these promises based on past efforts?

Right?

The trouble is Levy knows what the supporters think of him and I don't believe it worries him for one second. It's water on a ducks back so if he has to lie to another of our managers then he will. There are what 5 days left of the window and I wouldn't be surprised if we start with the same choice of defenders as last season unless he spends the Kane money but I wouldn't rely on him doing that either.

Once Levy makes the decision on Kane i would guess this week, then likely the additions will come in.

These is little doubt the squad will be strengthened in defence.

Yeah I think once Kane is sorted we see ins and outs next week

Assuming BM offer is final, then it's up to Levy, at the end of the day Levy needs some idea of what the club will get, how the deal is structured before he moves for players incoming.

Even if he stays I thinks everything seems to be on hold pending a resolution one way or another

By the time the window closes we will be ten points behind everyone else. Then the new guys will take a month or two to get going. Why don’t we get them in NOW?
