I think the players we move on will almost cover the players that's coming in so DL might even end up not really spending a penny in this window again.
But would guess there is funds there for something special if it came up for the right price.

Main thing is to tie up the young lads we have ( which we are and have been doing ) and get the players MP wants in and move on any unwanted players even for a loss ( which we are atm ).

Can't wait for the season to start :)

Love what Grey Fox says in the ITK RO thread. GF doesn't post often, but I find he is almost 100% correct in what he has to say.

I said it on some other thread but what amazing amazing work from Dan Levy - http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/new-scheme/

From the dark days of the 90s where a fancy dribble or clever pass would be what we would consider highlights of a game in a dingy stadium that we, an ageing mismanaged team, more often than not lost - to these days. A world class training facility with a top youth team and a world class stadium all cleverly financed and integrated with local community development and initiatives. A coach fully tuned into the clubs objectives - particularly youth development. A team that has consistently finished 6 and above. A salute of gratitude and respect Mr. Levy from a fan who has seen the dark days.

A great interview - http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/spurs-tv/features/daniel-levy-on-new-stadium-scheme/

i find it amusing that even when they have a direct quote the media will still spin it to suit a headline i.e 'busy window' doesnt necessarily mean more signings especially given the 'dead-wood' that we need to shift. my guess would be another 5-10 leaving, no more than 2-3 joining.

When I saw the headline I thought to myself, that doesn't sound like Levy, he's usually more guarded than that and sure enough he never said what the headline is stating.

That is a busy window indeed. People get just as excited of getting rid of bad players as they do signing good ones these days. I'd take 1 leaving and 1 joining if it meant Ade went!:troll:

i know what you mean but i think the following all have 'For Sale' signs on them (Vlad, Younes, Stambo, Ade, Bobby, Lennon) plus Fazio, Dembele and Townsend seem to have slightly schizophrenic relationships with Poch and would be sold if a suitable bid were received. Oh to be a football agent in North London in the summer months!

I'd agree with the bold but Fazio, Dembele and Townsend I don't think will go. As others have said if we sell too many it will leave us with too much to do. Wouldn't be surprised if the unbolded players go in either Jan or next summer if they aren't performing.

Be nice and necessary imo to see a quality attacking player come in.
Every team around us is doing so.
Not necessarily a big buy but someone like a VDV who'll improve the starting 11.
