Ings is considerably quicker and to my eyes is a bit better at getting himself away from defenders into pockets of space, while Kane features holdup play second to none and better finishing. So I think they would compliment each other quite well when one isn't working, and would give opposition manager's more to think about in preparation in guessing which one (or both) we'd be featuring.

Ings could likely also play in any of the positions behind Kane...

Hopefully he sees the obvious that his best chance of much game time with the top teams is with us.

Liverpool:
Daniel Sturridge
(Raheem Sterling)
Divorck Origi
Mario Balotelli (bit shit)
Rickie Lambert (Bit shit)

Manchester United:
RVP
Wayne Rooney
James Wilson
(Falcao)

Arsenal London:
Danny Welbeck
Olivier Giroud
(Theo Walcott)
(Alexis Sanchez)
Joel Campbell? (bit useless)
Yaya Sanogo? (shit)

Manchester City:
Sergio Agüero
Edin Dzeko?
Wilfried Bony
Stevan Jovetic?

Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane
Roberto Soldado (bit shit)
Emmanuel Adebayor (useless for a team)

Chelsea London
Diego Costa
Loic Remy
For sure someone higher up the ranks.

In his position, I'd come to us

Liverpool makes sense. Highly doubt they want Balotelli and probably Lambert after this season. They could also sell off Borini and go with a Sturridge, Ings as their primary striker options with Sterling and Origi also able to fill in. Sucks because Liverpool are obviously a bunch douchebags.

As far as i know, he's allowed to talk to foreign clubs at this stage of his contract just not domestic clubs? Please kick me if that's completely wrong.

If i were him, i'd at least have a look at what Moyes is offering in Spain. Even if it's just to set the bar for what i could then negotiate here. Never hurts to have a few options and to weigh them all up accordingly.

His agent will no doubt be doing his best to start a scramble at the end of the season when he becomes available. Can't really see him going to Spain though.

Not doubting any info but not sure about him wanting to stay up North. He goes back home near Winchester in between seasons and was close to joining Southampton last summer.

He's not from the north either as far as I'm aware played a lot of football down here. Possibly a woman on the scene though

biased I know but surely he must like what he sees at Spurs. Poch building a team of young English players, giving them a change. Progessing players like Kane and Eriksen massively. What I do think is if we can get that champs league place, that should be enough to get him here. He is a top player on a "free". if we buy him and Reid from west ham, shift the dead wood, then we could buy a Depay and Cabaye and have 4 top players in the team with the money we sell from.

60k a week seems a little high, if we sign him for that, Harry should be knocking on the door for a new contract

3 new contracts in one season. That'd surely be a record!
