Even if he was healthy, I would have rather us sat him for the last 2 games anyway. Still, this is less than encouraging.

Shame this was not done much earlier, he could have been back by now if it had been.

Exploratory, which means there might be worse news or more surgery, or both, still to come. This is bad news.

I think people should allow the body to try and heal first before jumping under the surgeons knife. Danny Rose (and the club) were right to first try the non operation rehabilitation route first.

However this news doesn't sound good.

Presumably they spoke to someone with a bit of a medical background before deciding not to do it earlier. I doubt that they just couldn't be arsed to think about it carefully.

I'd say that's fairly obvious but how long ago was he injured? It's been months. One would have thought that with modern medical technology we'd reach a decision before now.

Anyway let's hope he recovers quickly if he does need further surgery.

I'm really surprised that they waited so long to give him this op. They must have their reasons, but this will put him back months, especially if he has actually torn his cruciate ligament, or damaged the cartilage.
