In other Rohan Ricketts news, I never knew that, when he was at Toronto (I think), 50 Cent used to wear one of their shirts with his name on the back. Weird.

One would hope Harry (or more likely Tim Sherwood) would be more abreast of the situation. If Pleat had said 'sure, yeah, whatever' it would have been more acceptable. Its only one side of the story though, maybe it wasnt even Pleat who he called ha!

I do wonder how much managers talk to their players about their future. Some seem happy to say nothing and some seem even happier to talk to the journalists before the player.

I really liked Rohan Ricketts, even had him on the back of a shirt. He was a great character whenever I met him and he definitely had potential, I remember hearing about the call from Sven and all that. He was pretty well liked in Toronto from what I read (the 50 cent thing is widely reported), didn't he come back to Barnsley or someone? But Rohan...Moldova really?

Yes... but blink and you would have missed it.

Belgian wonderkid Blondel played twice for us in the Premier League, once in 2002-03 and once in 2003-04.

Didn't Blondel play in a 3-0 win at Coventry in the League Cup as well? First game in charge for Pleat I believe after Hoddle's sacking.
