Course we do. I'm not Dawson's biggest fan, but I'd have started him with King yesterday as I would have started Lennon on the right instead of Kranjcar.

But that wasn't the point of the thread, I just was curious as to why they weren't involved yesterday and why the offical site didn't mention them as injured in the team news.

Dawson,Huddlestone and Lennon won't be really missed in the Premier league,now we have Ledley and Parker in the team but they will be a huge miss for our Europa League games.

We definitely need them even if yesterday's team was strong, the bench was raw. Having all of VDV, Lennon, Hudd, Dawson, Corluka, Pienaar, Sandro and Rose fit added to the team that played yesterday puts a lot of the recent doom in perspective. All of them have merit and the ability to be starters, and competition will be a boon when they are back.

We won't get near the Manc teams this season barring an unexpected turn of events, but that squad should challenge Arsenal and Liverpool at least for fourth.

Well they are, but Cahill was a walking disaster yesterday, even more so than most other defenders have been against Man U this season.

Well they are, but Cahill was a walking disaster yesterday, even more so than most other defenders have been against Man U this season.

He didn't have a good game obviously, but the Bolton back line didn't exactly get much protection either.

Also one bad game, against the Champions who seem to have got even stronger remarkably, doesn't make you a bad player full stop.
