Still one of the first our the door for me with Winks and Sissoko this summer. Never rated him, never will.

His personality and behaviour these couple of seasons are unacceptable, and I have no idea why he's suddenly back in the team.

He's a luxury player that worked because he had prime Dembele/Wanyama and Eriksen in the same team. And let's be honest we're not getting someone close to them for a long time.
luxury player? He's one of our best pressers ffs

I thought Leeds simply walked through our midfield

all the danger was from out wide for me the space left behind Son and Bale meant that they could stretch the midfield and create one on ones out wide continually which the full backs couldn't deal with - he tried to push the full backs tighter in the second half which worked better but we weren't able to control the pace of the game as we can't keep the ball which has been a problem all season

the midfield has had a poor shape all season and not because Alli is playing

So? That doesn't warrant him a #10 role in the squad when he isn't a #10.
For me he just doesn't fit, and that my main point for wanting him gone.
what do you mean so? you've just called him a luxury player, I'm saying he's not a luxury player because he puts a lot of hard work in. and if you care to listen to RM's press conferences you'll see why he's back in the team, because it's a clean slate since he's been manager and Dele has been working hard on the training ground

luxury players don't score and create goals - the real luxury players are the ones the contribute very little to the side and we have a number of those before people rinse Alli

Agree. If Kane is going you dont let someone who can score goals and assist like Dele does walk out the door. Would be bloody stupid imo.

Another thing, when our new manager comes in, providing its not someone shit, you watch Dele try and make Jose look a twat. He'll be right fired up imo, as he is now.

Will we see the 'old Dele' back, most likely not. However, is he good enough to be part of our squad, yes of course. If we get into Europa League again we are going to need numbers and if Dele is willing to be part of the squad then he stays.

For me, there are only 4 players currently who are definite starters in team in Kane, Son, PEH & Lloris. Every other position either needs upgrading or there is competition that will mean rotation. Even more so next year when Skipp & Sess return. If Dele is willing to accept he is part of a squad rotation game then that's fine with me.
