I'd love to but I think he's got to prove himself first really, and I hope he does.Biggest question is would any of you take him back in the summer on a free.

Realistically he's been away for so long now that you can't expect him to be at the level of a club that wants to challenge at the top.Biggest question is would any of you take him back in the summer on a free.
I would love Ange to at least have a chat with him to see where he’s at mentally, if he’s really got the desire, hunger and most importantly the love of the game back.Biggest question is would any of you take him back in the summer on a free.
With where we want to be next season, we can't afford to be taking a chance like that.I would love Ange to at least have a chat with him to see where he’s at mentally, if he’s really got the desire, hunger and most importantly the love of the game back.
If he does then a one year deal similar to what Eriksen got with brentford would be best for all sides,
this would be an opportunity for him to prove him self in a familiar surroundings with fans that still adores him and the club will be getting a player to compete with Maddison, who’s free, home grown and club trained.
This is a gamble nonetheless but a gamble with huge upsides if he recapture he’s form and very little downside as in the most it’s going to cost is a year’s wage which comes with added publicity that we will always take care one of our own.
Well if he’s taking up one of the 17 non HG spots then I agree but he’s not, we will need more CT players for European competitions and if we are even thinking of letting skipp leave then dele in the team actually solves some of that problem for us. We can’t magically create CT players to fill the spot so it’s going to be left open or filled with players that’s not going to play anyway. With where we want to be next season, we can't afford to be taking a chance like that.
It would be lovely but if it doesn't work, we've wasted an important squad space.
He struggled at Everton not long ago, he needs to prove himself at a lower lever than we are aiming to be.
For me, it's just too much of a gamble because he hasn't played well for years now and I'd rather that place be used for our youngsters like Donley or even Moore.Well if he’s taking up one of the 17 non HG spots then I agree but he’s not, we will need more CT players for European competitions and if we are even thinking of letting skipp leave then dele in the team actually solves some of that problem for us. And also, what would Dele want? A squad role at a big club or a hopefully starting role at a smaller club? For me, it's just too much of a gamble because he hasn't played well for years now and I'd rather that place be used for our youngsters like Donley or even Moore.
I'd love to see Dele back and playing well but we're not a rehab centre.
That’s the thing, we can’t fill the CT spots with players under 21.For me, it's just too much of a gamble because he hasn't played well for years now and I'd rather that place be used for our youngsters like Donley or even Moore.

That’s true, if he’s looking for as much playing time as possible then we may not be the best option for him.And also, what would Dele want? A squad role at a big club or a hopefully starting role at a smaller club?
Given his 2026 hope, I'd wager that he just wants to play as much football as possible and he is very unlikely to get that at Spurs.
But as @Marty says, how much would Dele play if he came to us?That’s the thing, we can’t fill the CT spots with players under 21.

Thomas Mueller replacement!I just can't see his style of play suited to the modern game anymore. Can't find another player similar to him which can't be a good thing
