I would be sending him straight back there on loan personally. People keep clambering for the likes of him and Pritchard to come in to the first team, but it just doesn't work like that.

Give him a season in the Championship and let's see how he does then re-evaluate. What's the worst that could happen?

Ryan Mason made the jump straight from Swindon, who finished 8th in League 1 and was hardly pulling up trees, I'm not saying I expect Alli to go straight into the first team, but he'll be played in the Europa League and hopefully force his way into the first team the way Kane did.

He didn't make that jump though. He didn't play a League game for us until over a year after that spell ended. We sent him to France for a period where he didn't play if I recall.
