No Onomah needs to be staying with out squad. He has huge potential and at worse he should be going to a club a bit better than MK Dons, meaning no offence to them of course
Groan... Again, what's the point of loaning him to a better Championship club, who don't play him? Karl Robinson plays the ball on the ground, and they will have lost a big player in Alli, and Onomah could slot in perfectly. These kids need to play week in, week out to toughen up and develop, I can't believe people don't understand this looking at Kane, Mason, Townsend etc. We are reaping the benefits of all the matches they played on loan.

Why does everything have to be about "values" and sell on fee's? I dont really care how much a players worth I'm thinking purely about how to bring him on to be a top player for us.

If we think we can develop him into a top player for us, why would we risk newcastle fucking it up?

Anyone who complains about us signing a young English kid with loads of talent strike me as the type that will twist anything just to create an argument.

If you are talking about Pritchard, he is playing in the Championship and Ali is in League One.

Other than that I agree with your point.
Nah was talking about Luongo.

I really like Pritchard and I think he'll be making a show in our squad next year.

Completely agree. Just look at Pritchard for example. He was at Swindon last year and was the best player there. Now he's at Brentford and he's the best player there (in my opinion). He plays each and every minute and is learning to live with the pressure of being a key player and match winner. Maybe the most important thing of all, playing each game breeds confidence and young players need to believe in their ability in order to improve.
I honestly think he'll be ready for our first team squad next season, which means we've developed him perfectly.

As most of our signings in the last five years had their own Welcome to Liverpool FC vid on youtube, I just did a quick check and sadly I can confirm there isn't any Dele Alli welcome to Liverpool FC clip over there....yet.
Surely there's someone possessed with decent video editing wizardry over here to make one so we can just sign the kid already? :sneaky:

Great post, and bang on the money. All about gaining experience, and playing against grown men in front of real crowds.

Tottenham looking to pinch Dele Alli from Newcastle's grasp with deadline day move

The Toon Army reckoned they were set to sign the England whizkid after agreeing a £5million fee but now Spurs are hoping to step in ahead of the Toon and Aston Villa

Bid: Spurs will look to nick Alli from under Newcastle's nose

Tottenham have made a shock late move to sign MK Dons wonderkid Dele Alli.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is now facing a three-way battle with Newcastle and Aston Villa to sign the 18-year-old midfielder before the transfer window shuts.

Newcastle believed they had a deal done last week as they agreed a £5million fee with the League One club and were ready to loan him back for the rest of the season.
