Another wing-back among those on Paratici's radar is Inter's Denzel Dumfries with the 26-year-old catching the eye at the World Cup but interested clubs have been quoted a hefty price tag for the Netherlands star.

The other right-wing-backs we’ve been linked with are young or not so tall. It would make sense to me if Dumfries is the option Conte prefers.

Would prefer Porro or to give Spence a chance.

Dumfries has too many limitations that would quickly make Spurs fans moan and ask for another RWB.

Porro is probably the better club signing if you don't take the manager into account. Dumfries is probably the better Conte signing.

On that basis alone I go with getting Conte players and would prefer Dumfries to Porro.

There's some lazy narratives on Dumfries, forgetting the WC for a minute his stats have been very decent and he has PL player attributes.

Inter supposedly value him at 60 mil. Regardless of one’s opinion of him he is certainly not worth that. The only WB I could maybe see us spending that sort of money on, if he magically became available, is Hakimi and even then I’m not sure we actually would.
