While he might not be everyone's ideal for. Spurs player, we've got to admit we've not won anything for a while and that Jose's "nice guys" label rings true.

Adebayor wasn't everyone's cup of tea either, but he played a key role for a season or 2. Costa would be like that, a bit.

Think I prefer King o we him, but whomever it is, we need an able backup/support to Kane, especially if Son is laid up for a significant period.

I'd take him in all honesty. Would love this handball law and bully defences. Knock it down for Bale and Son or even Kane.

We wont be saying this at February when he has 1 goal and 2 red cards to his name and wondering why we didn't sign a proper striker who could actually score.

Is he that shit now? I haven’t watched La Liga for quite a while.

He's not that shit. Older and a little slower, yes, but still a brute and a real physical presence up top. Just doesn't score many (then again, not many of AMs strikers did last year!)

Well.. Not scoring wouldn't be a big deal if we were to use him as a pure plan B or to play as a link-up for Kane. But we need a CF who can give Kane a rest without reducing the output considerably.

But he’s still better than nobody, which seems to be what’s currently happening.
