Surely he needs sticking on the bench with our upcoming games along with a couple of other youngsters!

I must be honest I've never really seen him play but the fact that none of the last 3 managers have used him and hardly ever put him on the bench surely means they don't think he's all that. I'm probably completely wrong but it does seem strange that so many on here talk him up but he's never given a game. Perhaps those that know could enlighten me on his ability. I would love another academy player come through, it's been a while.

I think it’s one of those chicken and egg scenarios with his contract. He won’t sign unless he sees a clear pathway to the first team, and we won’t give him that until he signs.

Pretty sure he's been on the bench a couple of times - and he played against Vitesse, back in October

Haven't had the chance to see him play live yet but others have noted that we've got a cracking U23's side and Dilan's right up there.

Then I hope it's not one of those that got away and came back to bite us. If we don't give him playing time and he leaves it doesn't exactly give the other academy players a lot of confidence. It's not as if our current squad are actually performing that well. Morecambe last Sunday would have been a great opportunity to play him and if they don't play him then when will they.

A beautiful frosty morning and now this! A genuine case of catch 22. ?
