i'd assumed they just thought markanday wasn't there physically yet and that's why he wasn't involved in pre-season but he's looking like an absolute block now, it's really allowed him to impose himself on defenders more and he was the clear standout player for me tonight. white and devine pulled the strings as expected and lavinier showed a lot of tenacity as well as some good runs forward. sess didn't overly exert himself but he did alright i thought. everyone played their part though, strong performance all round.
