Interesting article on Spursiness and how Poch is doing his best to alleviate it. But I question this line of reasoning...are Spurs flaky or are Spurs fans flaky?

Spurs, for many, has long been a byword for a particular sort of flaky flashiness, a sense of style over substance, of glamorous underachievement. David Ginola. Lads, it’s Tottenham.

Strangely, for a long time, every Spurs fan I seemed to know was also a bit flashy and not a little flaky: Wide boys, a little too concerned about their hair, always well turned out but lacking in a bit of moral ruggedness; not ones you’d want with you in the trenches, so to speak.

Well I have to say I was a bit flashy and still am although with less hair. But we’ve always been about style and to be honest that is why I love Spurs. It’s chicken and egg for me. I’d rather not take that out of our DNA just add the Argentinian dark arts and a never say die attitude. Less of the Roger Moore and more of the Daniel Craig so to speak. Spunk, pluck, spine but still with a dash of class. We’ve got a lot to thank Poch for.
