We had our chance to get Gray when he was at Birmingham City we passed, with Marcus Edwards about I think we should stay clear.

I remembered we passed on Connor Wicker to when at Ipswich and trusted our own Harry Kane.

We should trust our own development player first.

I dont think we passed he turned us down

You voted brexit didn't you?

Actually quite the opposite. Maybe I just watched a poorly compiled video on him but I didn't see anything remotely special that made him look better than average. Everyone is desperate for a signing but I don't see anything in him that is worth breaking a transfer record.

Berardi - 111 Serie A appearances, 43 goals and 33 assists
Gray - 42 Premier League appearances, 1 goal, 5 assists

Really makes you think.

2016/17 20 Serie A appearances - 4 goals (2 of which were penalties) - 6Y
2015/16 30 Serie A appearances - 7 goals (3 of which were penalties) - 10Y 1R

Having watched all the Euro U21 matches he didn't impress while Gray did. Maybe Poch can rekindle his career but he seems to be a player who has failed to deliver on his stellar early promise and he has been far from prolific in the last 2 seasons. He also seems to have a lot of disciplinary issues.

Personally i hope he isn't the player JJ hinted at. File under Berahino/bullet dodged (n).

The majority of the country did tbf...
Including myself but on subject I ain't too familiar with the player but I know I wouldn't want Gray or King or any other average player just because they're English at Spurs.

He's not that bad! Not Berahino bad. Man I'm not convinced Gray is better than Berardi either, though Gray is showing constant improvement Berardi is not.

Again, Statistically Berardi is quite good. He got 9 assists last season, for a lower mid table club in 20 apps. Not bad. Ultimately, he started out more a striker, and has become more a winger, the statistics reflect that.

I'm not sure about Gray either but he looks like he has potential. This kid probably does too but from what I saw at the Euro U21s and the few YouTube clips he looks a very selfish and frustrating player. If anyone can make a success out of him I am confident Poch can but he looks a big gamble that could end up as another Sissoko. I'd rather spend big on someone like Sessegnon who looks a certain future star.

Has anyone guessed at Bernadeschi yet, fits the exact same profile as Berardi, although it appears Juve have agreed a fee for him.

The worry for me is the standard set in Serie A. As far as wide players go, Salah looks world class over there...hes dog shit!

Dunno about that - he caused us massive problems in the europa league when he played for both Basle and Fiorentina

Semantics perhaps, but, no they didn't. The thinnest of "majorities" of the voting public voted Brexit, certainly not the country. Nearly 13million elligible voters didn't, for example and the trend suggests...

Ohhh Wait, this is the Berardi thread, ahem... No to foreigners!

Actually the kid has talent, but I think he needs to be a slightly bigger fish than the pond, so to speak and I fear he might not hit the heights if he were to join us because of playing time.

Why aren't you digging with JJ? I thought that was your role now??? :D

He is keeping this close to his chest. quite right as well to be honest if there is a risk that a deal could be compromised

Even if he did tell me though....I wouldnt share ;)
