Really can't see any of our DOF candidates wanting Brendan fucking Rodgers....I'm not worried.

If we get Rodgers I'm not following the club until he's gone. How can anyone think the man who has relegated Leicester would be a good appointment? The man is a clown.

The worry is if more managers turn us down then I can see Levy thinking "Rodgers now there's a man that's managed some big clubs" he'll do nicely. Then at the end of the season when he's gone it starts all over again. No other club lives "Groundhog Day " Like Spurs do.

Rodgers isn't anywhere as bad as this thread suggests. I dont want him, but he's had excellent Celtic, Liverpool, and Leicester sides.

I am choosing to believe this is absolute rubbish as I find the alternative rather disturbing.

Spurs fans need to be far more realistic. Sure, Rodgers shouldn't be first or second choice but some of the replies on this thread are ridiculous. He's a decent manager and plays good football, whilst happy to bring through younger players. He's finished 5th twice and won an F.A Cup with Leicester, so done better with their more limited squad than Conte did with ours. We've won fuck all for a good while and unfortunately find ourselves in a period of time when the investment in PL clubs is at a frightening level, so regardless who owned us we are going to find even finishing top 4 extremely difficult for a while.

Much better to have a manager who plays decent football and can improve youngsters in charge, then you've got half a chance to outperform you're expected level.

Again, not suggesting Rodgers is my preferred choice (i'd actually choose De Zerbi but that's unlikely) but Spurs fans will almost unanimously turn their noses up at the likes of Rodgers, Marco Silva , Postecoglou and Potter yet they'd all do a decent job. Realistically i hope we get someone like Slot , as i think he'll be 'accepted', and at the moment we 100% need everyone to get behind a new manager.

Change the name Rodgers for Potter and I can see it but ask Leicester fans about him.

Not a popular guy and they don't rate his work at all.
