Tottenham are ready to pounce for Brendan Rodgers if Leicester fail to qualify for the Champions League on Sunday. Rodgers has been Daniel Levy’s preferred choice to replace Jose Mourinho but it had been feared Spurs may not be able to tempt him if the Foxes finish in the top four.

Look shipmates the wee Norn has been quoted as saying he has seen how managers are treated at Spurs no way would he want to work under the property developer.

Don't have a horse in this race but tbf to the guy he did win an FA Cup within the past month. If any club can claim to have squandered some excellent opportunities for silverware, however....
