Rating him purely as a player then he is up there with the finest centre forwards I've seen, the ultimate battering ram no9 who is utterly unplayable on form. Not just the 'brainless bull at the gate' which is the best description I've heard of your classic English no9, but also a phenomenal footballer. He has everything, unfortunately for us over the years - what he did to Gallas in the semi final, bloody hell.
