Just wanted to say that I believe if Bernard goes to Arsenal he may get lost there. There are just too many players in a similar mould there. On the other hand Spurs may offer Bernard an opportunity to play in his favoured position with at least one of Europe's best players and one of the most highly regarded coaches in world football.

At Spurs Bernard would have a chance to play and develop his game NOW - allowing him a good chance to stake a claim to a starting role in Brasil's World Cup team.

I'm hoping he selects Spurs as his next club. COYS

He'd also have (at least) 2 Brazilian teammates to play alongside. Scolari will definitely be watching us next season, it would make sense for him to join us.

Yes, I should have mentioned that he'd have at least Sandro and Paulinho as teammates. These should be a great help in helping him to settle in a new footballing environment.

Only if we've actually made a formal bid for him.

Journalist G.Guimarães has just informed me that sources from Atlético-MG, close to president A.Kalil, have confirmed Bernard to #AFC deal.
I do not care what weaknesses Arse have, this is a great singing for them (if true, which slowly seems to be the case) I am going to be really, really gutted if we miss out on him. I am so fed up with seeing the likes of Arss, Chelsea, Pool, Utd etc getting these exiting, creative, flair players. As much as Chadli looks a v good buy I really still feel we need a purely creative winger to balance out the more direct play of chad and bale. Ah well, clearly not going to happen... And I don't know what all that Sanchez stuff was about at all.

Spurs need that creative/flair player. Who else have we got? Bernard seems to have what it takes. Frankly I'd rather spend the money on Bernard rather than Soldado. Same goes for Halilovic. Both are exciting players that we should do all in our power to get.

Obviously a done deal to the scum. Time to start absolutely despising everything about him and hoping his career is riddled with misery and pain.

Brazilstats is such a bullshit account. Convinced it is just some english 14 year old sitting in his room harvesting "News" off the internet.
Wasn't he saying Bernard to us was 99% done a month back? I am tending to agree with you. however I am struggling more and more to see this deal if we are really intending to spend £27 mil on Soldado. I still think Bernard would be a very important buy for us tho.

The info in itself may very well be true. Then this guy steals it and spices it a bit. unless this guys mom or dad is a brazilian journo, this guy has never spoken to one in his life.

Id be very surprised to see us get bernard, but very happy if it happens.

Bale, Lennon, Townsend, Sigurdsson, Chadli, Dembele.
