with Olympic Sprinters they have to be undr 2 seconds for the first 20M. NFL players the metric ive seen quite often is how fast they are over 30M.
I think that should probably be either "under 3 seconds for the first 20m" or "under 2 seconds for the first 10m".

I think Bentancur will become that 6 personally.
Do not take this as a dig at you, I just thought I might as well leave my opinion here as we are discussing all things Tapsoba😄

I actually find it slightly concerning that so many of the posters here take it for granted that Bentancur will be in our starting 11 next season. I don't think there is a guarantee we will see him on the pitch until the winter break. And even though I rate Bentancur very highly, I think there is a very slim chance he will ever return to the level he played at before the injury. Hopefully I am wrong in this case, but there are extremely few players who reach their previous level after an ACL rupture. Fortunately for us he was a few levels above our other midfielders so he could probably still do a job anyway.

Anyway, if we are planning on moving on Hojbjerg, Lo Celso and Ndombele we definitely need another midfielder who can slot straight into the starting 11.

Not directly related but Mitchel Bakker, left back for Leverkusen is moving to Atalanta according to Fab.

Leverkusen already rumored to be in a position of strength financially speaking and pretty much every single defender they have has been linked with a move away.

Hincapie, Tah, Tapsoba, and Frimpong all with rumored links and exits

To add to this on incoming side, Leverkusen are purchasing Xhaka for £21.5m.

Hincapie I understand his injured for the next 10-12 weeks or so. And leverkusen are in the market for a cb (they just missed out on Koch who is joining frankfurt).

Might be moving parts relevant to us and Tapsoba, equally may not.

There is a particular Colombian international who may be of interest...

This just looks like a transfer saga that won't be concluded this summer and he stays at Leverkusen who are well within their rights to dig their heels in here.

No point flogging a dead horse and potentially missing out on quality alternatives like van de Ven - we need defensive reinforcements for pre-season ASAP.

If they’re both on how is it THEN up to the club to decide? Does he mean we are still working in both?

Exactly that, both deals can still be done and it is up to the club to decide which one it wants to do. The obvious inference therefore being that we only want to do one of them.
Not something we're used to but it beats spending all summer trying to buy the one, the only one, the coach will accept but who doesn't want to come, whose club doesn't want to sell and who we've got no chance of getting so we end up borrowing Lenglet.
