I agree Mr P.

Everything about him says to me that he's matured. He interviews much better nowadays, and comes across as much more grateful for everything that he gets out of football, whereas before it was all about "me, me, me".

I don't know if it was the shooting or not, but he's changed.

probably fatherhood as well...

Just an idea. But you get taxed less for giving money to charity than you do for income. So maybe if we payed the money Adebayor gives to his charities in Togo directly rather than out of his wage packet, circumventing the income tax, that difference in tax to his post tax wage packet may make him a little more affordable. It's not going to make up all the short fall, but it should help us perhaps find middle ground.
