All depends on whether they can offer wages agreeable to him or not. If so, there's a chance we may be able to move both of Soldado and Ade this January :woot:

Was't Monaco too interested in him. They're still in the CL and conteding for a CL spot in Ligue 1, so they'll need reinforcements - and hopefully they'll go for Kaboul, Ekotto, Capoue and Ade at a "good price"....

They were said to be indeed, and I've been holding out hope that they may reinvigorate that interest as a result of qualifying for the elimination places. I think between that and Marseille's marked improvement in the league, Monaco will need the depth to solidify their claim on a CL place. Really hoping they'll reopen that door, as I think they could handle Ade's wage demands with that sexy no tax treatise of theirs.

Can't imagine Ade will leave. Would be the best thing possible in the transfer window though. Fuck the transfer fee, just get rid of the wage bill.

Agreed. Honestly can see no problem in offering him to Monaco or even this Torino for free. He's not playing anyway, so it'd be ridiculous to hold out for another couple mil with those wages on the line. Get rid, free up wages, all parties move on.

And what happens if Harry gets injured?

Surely we won't go with two strikers with 3/4 competitions in the second part of the season. But I'd rather play a hungry, young talent we at least would loan/ buy than Ade who can't be bothered and destroying the spirit of the group.

Well Torino have the cash from the Cerci and Immobile sales in the summer (unless they spent it all?!) so the fee won't be an issue, although I'd give him away tbh, just get his wages off the bill...

The guy has hit 30 now, probably only got 5 years or so left to play, go to Italy, will probably do well, just don't want him at spurs by Feb 1st...

Probably one of the best forwards we've had at the club in terms of his overall form and potential ability, just a shame that he lives in a strange word that can only be conceived as a mixture of narcissism and fantasy.

I was hoping that we'd turned a corner with him after the 2nd half of last season, but knew from seeing him in the summer friendlies that he'd slipped back into that strange place. Shame.

As much as I'd like him to recapture his form, I can't see him being happy with being 2nd fiddle to Harry (or even 3rd to Soldado) without unleashing all sorts of hell and fury, hence it would probably work out better if we could find him an alternative place to play his football this window.

He's a great player when he tries and is motivated. Trouble is, he's rarely ever motivated, it takes extreme measures to motivate him and doesnt try. Oh and he also is a massive distraction.
