Who do we think will get in it?

Woodgate and Jenas have got to be strong candidates. Lennon is in the U21's can be be brought up I'm sure?

I have no doubt Ledley would be in there if it wasn't for his injury.

I don't think they will call up any under 21s. They have a big tournament in June that we want to win, hence the squad being so strong. Will be good for Lennon and O Hara to have a chance of winning something with England.

Apparently Woodgate will be brought back in from the cold. Well deserved too. Lennon should be there, but maybe a big tourmament for the U21s will be good for him. Jenas is a 50/50, Capello likes him, but he's not short of CMs.

Well apparently Foster's going to be in it because of the CC Final, and Kevin Davies will be called up, so I guess anything's possible... :-|

What is Capello's problem with Woodgate??? He never picks him...and he's always solid and as good if not better then most of the others.

Apparently the reason Lennon isn't in the squad for this one is that it's a friendly, he's expected to start in the next qualifier though.

What exactly was so good about Foster's CC Final display? He saved a penalty...

It's akward, I'd quite like none of our players to be in it so they can focus on playing for us (plus no risk of injuries) however it is good for players to show they can forfill their England ambitions whilst playing for us as it will both help keep our current players happy to stay with us and possibly add to our appeal to other fringe England players we may wish to sign (Downing for example..not that I particularly want to sign him)

Ledley and Lennon are in. No Woodgate or Jenas.

Just please explain to me what he is hoping to achieve with having King in the squad?

Good on ledders, he fully deserves it, fine player. Even if he can only train once before the match, he is more then capable.

Shame for the big tourny's, although I could see him starting one or two games, and the potentially be saved for the quarters or latter stages of big matches.

Add to that Rio and Terry are both fit and will play the qualifier. The bloke doesn't need anymore games at the mo. He should be rested for the next two weeks ready for Blackburn.

Don't get it. If Lennon's gonna be called up to the seniors, why was he first picked for the U21's?

Very happy for both of them, although Ledley may seem a bit weird. If he plays he will only play in the friendly.
