I think they'd be just fine—but I can't see Harry dropping his love-child, can you?

Well I thought he would never drop Keane but he did more than that he got rid of him!! Then I thought he would never drop Crouch but he has been on the bench lately, so you never know, we can only hope!!

BBC :

2149: Good news Tottenham and Wales fans: Gareth Bale says the icepack was merely a precaution and he's fine really.

Well played Crouchie. Looked decent tonight.

Im getting slightly worried about Cappello though, some of his selections are very poor imo. I will pray that its just down to injuries, and this being a friendly..

But Walcott, i mean wtf? I could name atleast 5 players that should of started on the right ahead of him, maybe more. And Upson? Very poor choice imo, looked very shakey again today.

I wouldn't worry m8. Caps did the right thing, why pick a player that you already know what you will get from him? He needed to see if Walnut could cut it after the injuries, Upson has had good ratings for Spam so he needed to see if he could perform on an international level. Even the front two of Defoe and Shrek was not like him but he was willing to use this friendly to see if it could work. I got no problems with Caps decisions

Your probably right... But I think Dawson should of been ahead of Upson, and like i said millions of players ahead of Walcott.

I would of scrapped Walcott from my plans ages ago, and tested to see how Young, Milner or SWP did starting a game.

Im happy with Cappello on the whole, just please drop Walcott ffs!

so pleased for Crouchie- gonna be hilarious to read the reactions of the anti-Crouch brigade

actually Crouch wasn't clearly offside - just as with Jd's 'clear' offside recently - the key was the position of the ball not the defenders

Crouch was pretty much in line with the ball - maybe marginally off - but very close and easy to see why the lino let it stand

does anyone else think that Crouch prefers playing for and scoring for England because he actually gets the ball to his feet and also gets played in. Which he doesnt when playing with Defoe. Defoe is one greedy mofo. I am not saying i dont like him but there have been plenty of times when he could have played a killer pass and just went for a shift and shoot

Crouch certainly benefits when surrounded by players of Gerrard and Carrick's calibre.

Was at the game last night. Poor first half performance but much better in the second. Crouch took his goals well.

Steven Caulker was sat near me watching. He's incredibly tall.

The worst selection for me was Wes Brown, gave the ball away constantly.

Who else do we have for Right back, because Wes Browne is proper shite there.

well pleased for Crouchie and as others have remarked, maybe if we passed the ball along the floor more often to him, it might help us

I have never understood why Brown gets in the team and not only that never gets criticised for giving the ball away the whole game. Just like I cannot understand how Carrick is not selected to start :(

I'd say Barry has cemented the place, over Carrick.

But Brown is just rubbish, there must be better right backs than Brown.

Does Brown even play for Utd first team still?
