AGAIN the 'NOT-so-great' Engerland FAIL....and live up to expectations, again (and again). So the Rugby and Soccer teams are on the same level.....but how low can they both fall? Football is the winner....which is the only saving grace.....and the Yid future, ofcourse haha.....COYS!

Given the contributions of Rob Green and Matthew Upson to the tournament, can we now say that West Sham lost the World Cup?

There's no doubt we lost to the better team however Lampard's goal, which would have made it 2-2, was scored at a moment when we were definitely the more "up for it" of the two teams and had it been allowed goodness knows what the final score might have been. The fact that the idiotic referee/linesman didn't give it was a huge let down for the English team who, incorrectly, became instantly deflated by this terrible decision which now, hopefully, will force FIFA's hand into accepting modern goal-line technology as part of the game.
Sad for England, however as a Spurs fan I now hope our players over in S.A. get a decent holiday before reporting back for preseason training.

This!

Couldn't give a toss and was only remotely interested because there were spurs players in the england team!

I want to see good football and in 20 years of watching England I have seen us play good football once! 4-1 against Holland in euro 96!

Our players haven't got a clue and the managers are even worse! Chasing goals, bring on Heskey for Defoe? Rooney was playing like Raziak and yet he stays on? Barry is slower than grass growing and he starts? Johnson couldn't defend mother theresa of Calcutta against charges of drug dealing in a court of law and yet we don't bring any other right backs?

Lampard is hopeless unless surrounded by top players and only asked to score goals? Gerrard is ordinary unless he is in the thick of the action and the game is being played at 100 miles an hour and so he sticks him on the left? Milner is pants, and not a winger, what does he do? Play him on the left AND the right? Crouch has a great scoring record, plays well in a 4-4-2, is like nothing the teams in the world cup have seen before, and so he gives him minimal game time? We needed a player who could pop up in the hole and create chances, so he leaves Cole on the bench?

It was all just a big joke. They should retire Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Rio, Upson and drop Rooney! Barry, Johnson and Heskey should never be allowed near an England team again!

Roll on the "real" football!

COYS

How the feck could Capello say in the post match interview that we played well.. what a joke.

It was the worst England performance i can ever remember. Then, when we need a goal, lets bring on Hesky.. ffs.. Just terrible. He is a mug of a manager to not change things at half time.. OKay so maybe we came back into it for a minute or two, but that didnt change the fact that we were woeful at the back, and Barry wasn't covering shit. Just a pathetic performance all round.
