I think that the last summer was probably the final straw for many people but what can we do? I know that people say that another investment vehicle is the only realistic type of buyer but if someone came in with a plan to grow the club on as well as off the pitch then that would be enough for a lot of people.
But if the info that the Saudis offered to buy us is true, big if I know, then maybe it isn't just investment companies interested in us.
ATM I have to agree it seems hopeless to dream of owners who would spend massively on the playing side. But when dreams die, what's left. Not a lot in our case

Putting aside the moral arguments on the supposed Saudi offer (and I'm pretty sure that they were linked with Man United and even possibly Liverpool at one point too), it does seem that the preferred model for these type of bidders is to buy at a lower price and then spend more on the playing side. Possibly that might not have figured so much with the Saudis given their financial strength but most other buyers outside of a particular investment model would surely balk at that kind of price.

Yep, fair comments. That's why I'm so depressed about our situation. Just can't see us getting in owners that turn us into trophy winners

The Little Dictator.

I would genuinely say that if Kim Jong-Un came in with a 6 billion quid Offer. And the premier league passed him as a fit and proper owner. ( they would, you know they would ).

Teflon Dan would still say no. This is this miserable ****s life now.

He is here to torment us till we or he dies. ( I wish no ill health upon him )

There‘s no way he is selling. He loves the power. The prestige of controlling such a global asset.

We are not Tottenham Hotspur anymore. We are Daniel Levy’s plaything.

A loser married into wealth now controls every aspect of our club.

Happy Days!

Levy is the like
You should say what you really think.

Daniel Levy is like Kim Jong-Un in a football sense.

The little dictator.

we are like North Koreans ( in a football sense)

difference is, any sensible fan has the opportunity to leave this regime.

wake up and stop going.

I can’t go to the Man U game this weekend so i put my ticket on ticket exchange - nothing!! Nobody wants it.

nobody interested for a game against Man U!!

In our last season at WHL when our team was superb, a mate of mine shelled out £300 for a ticket for the Watford game, and another £300 for the Bournemouth game. Not exactly A-Listers.

This is how disinterested and apathetic the fan base is - If Levy is aware, he should be a little concerned.

Usually I’d be pissed off about missing the Man U game, seeing Ronaldo again etc, but actually I couldn’t care less, and am relieved not to be going.

I keep getting emails from the club about availability I don't know if it's just a circular which I suspect it is, because I haven't been attending in addition I delete the email.

Same feeling here. But by god would I pay £600 to watch those 2 games again live. Peak Poch ball. Dembele doing bits ???

Remember what it was like going to a game and knowing……knowing we would win and we would play fast aggressive football. It didn’t matter if we went a goal down or 2 goals down either, It was never over.

We are only talking 2 years ago, not the early 80s.

Couldn’t agree more. One of the best performances (most complete) I have seen in the flesh was the home game Vs Conte’s Chelsea. Think they had won 11 on the bounce. Dembele and Wanyama absolutely bossed it. ?

Looks like this was the guy behind the rumours of someone buying a London clubs from last week. Now what’s interesting from our POV is if ENIC turned down an approach to buy a % of us. Might have given us some money to spend.

All we need, money pumped into West Ham, and them becoming our Cup Final in three years time
It wouldn't bother me in terms of financial muscle because Spurs have a lot of potential for revenue now. What concerns me is ambition and strategy - both areas that we definitely seem to be lacking in.

Fair enough, and I agree re ambition and strategy.
But it still would worry me re financial muscle too, because a nouveau riche West Ham might get the extra striker they need (sounds familiar ?, and then they would be a very serious top 4 plus trophy threat
