I’m really struggling to see how levy could survive a Conte early exit. I appreciate he owns a large share and can’t just toddle off into the sunset. But surely he’d have to consider stepping down as CEO his position would just be completely untenable. It’s the only thing apart from a sale that would appease fans.
Past that for me, I struggle to see how he is able to currently remain, he has made disaster decisions, others have paid the price, he remains, we continue to fail. He is a problem. We are not winning anything under someone like Levy period.

Are people really buying a pencil from Levy’s cup? Really? He will do a chairman’s end of season statement in the program …. It’s been a difficult season and we work to put it right… rinse and repeat.

If he wants to put it right he needs to resign, it is beyond debate that he has made dreadful decisions. He is at the top. He sets the tone. We have no winning culture at all. He needs to go, he is well past his sell by date. He has consistently been the common denominator in not winning anything, that’s a fact. Through all the comings, goings and sackings, Levy has been at the top and been a proven failure. We have won nothing, zero.

Will success be to get the CL Final played at WHL when it’s taken away from Moscow?

OK, wrong. Paris gets it.

It is sad that this thread has become so toxic with boring repetitive garbage.
My Heart goes out to the people of Ukraine
Right now people world-wide are seeing what happens when an sports washing owner gets hold of a club and actually IMHO completely negates any value in any trophy they have won.
This time its Chelsea, next time it will be PSG Man City and or Newcastle.

None of these oligarchs and or countries are actually fit and proper owners of a football club.
By definition .................if they were they would not need to buy one.
Football need to kick all these corrupt countries out of club ownership.
I honestly believe that all of these owners should be slung out, the greed in the game is rotten to the core.
In my opinion FWIW Abramovic should be sanctioned and Chelsea confiscated and then should be sold off. Maybe the funds should go to the victims of the various human rights abuses etc.
PSG, Man City and Newcastle are not far behind them.
If anyone on here really believes that any of these owners gives a shit about the real fans in any of these clubs they are delusional.
Most of these countries do not give a shit about their own people, and abuse them at the drop of a hat, why should they care about a fan in a far away and often infidel country.
As a country and a continent we need to wake up smell the coffee and realise that we need to fight for what is right, help our fellow democracies, and be energy self-sufficient!
I for one am glad that we do not have an owner like those clubs mentioned above.

Well said mate but no country gives a shit about its people anywhere.
As for these oligarchs what are you expecting to happen to them because I'm expecting nothing to change the rich and powerful stay exactly that look at Prince Andrew.
Unfortunately football is corrupt just like politicians and many rich businessmen and more and more of these owners will find their way into football who is going to stop them?

You post was something we could all agree with without the need for the 1st sentence. You’re doing Ukraine a great disservice if you’re using them as a means to justify what a poor footballing job ENIC have done, we can all be pissed at ENIC but also disgusted with the likes of Abramovich and the Saudis.

In reality to take the moral high ground on this you need to walk away from the PL altogether, when you’re paying your TV service or going to away matches, really any money going in, you’re propping up the system that let’s these guys in. You’re giving money to them as you can’t say I want my money only to go to Tottenham. All the owners are rolling in the same pig shit benefiting off each other as they build the system that suits them.

You changed your opinion yet on the desire to have an owner like the one at chelsea?

I want owners who can take this club forward from where we are if that is the question your asking.
Im asking if you're still going to be the main voice on this forum beating the drum that you flatly don't care what disgusting things they're involved with and are more than happy to be sportwashed by them so long as they give you a couple of trophies for your football team and are you going to continue to ridicule people who would rather carry on without the riches that these disgusting people bring into the game even if it makes winning a trophy near impossible.

Saying its about owners taking the club forward is moot when every fan wants their club owners to take their club forward but not everybody is willing to see their club owned by a party using it to enhance their reputation to cover their terrible behaviour

Just a heads up for you,
1- I am not the main voice beating the drum others also have raised the issues.
2- I don't ridicule anyone people have a pop at me so I am perfectly able to have a pop back.
I hope that has cleared it up for you mate ?

As someone said earlier in this thread, our culture ‘it’s okay to lose’. Levy built this, once again starts at the top. Seasons come and go, managers sacked, players moved on, Levy remains. …. we win nothing and never will win anything with him period. The wheel turns, Levy stays, Tottenham stay trophy less.

This had better be the mother of all rebuilds this summer. We've lived off hope and promises of what's to come for too long now.

I just think we will be disappointed again, hope I’m wrong but every time it’s the same old thing
Yeah seems to be. It's a negative spiral we're in at the moment and have been for a few years. Conte eas supposed to be the shock in the arm tye club needed. If that doesn't work I don't know where we go as a club

Imagine being desperate for a trophy, any trophy, and we need a goal, and have to resort to bringing on Dane Scarlett. A kid with no league goals, or even Cup goals I don't think.

This is why we don't win trophies. We're not a serious club.

Years of mismanagement by Levy who is not a football man, meddling, sticking his fingers in football pies, with make do and mend, temporary plaster to fix problems approach. He has basically yet again gambled that Conte will somehow scrap over the line and get us 4th, in turn hope that gamble will mean he can keep hold of Kane.

it’s a f****** joke, amateurish, totally predictable from him and as always doomed to fail. Rinse and repeat, probably told some cock and bull vision to Conte, which will/is already starting to unravel.
