Christ players dropping like flies at the moment. Just when we really don’t need them to entering the busy period of the season.

Hopefully Eric makes a speedy recovery. Break will probably do some good as well.

Would've been great where the players went round North Mid hospital in the week to give the sick kids presents...to find Eric in there!

Damn. Who was the player that just had the same operation? Think it was Isco, right?

I had to have mine out in year 4. Nasty business. Hard to diagnose as pain comes and goes. I know from experience how uncomfortable he'll be!

Get well soon Eric.

Makes sense as to why Skipp got some good experience under his belt yesterday now

Fuck. Not good at all. I don't think Dier is an exceptional player of any sort , but I do think he plays a vital role in this team. Massive loss.

So Sissoko and Winks are our two primary central midfielders now? That's crazy, fucking hell.

How good has/have our squad/manager/players been when despite a non existent pre-season, WC fatigue for the majority of our first XI and mass injuries (due to the aforementioned) we have still amassed our best ever points total. (y)

If no complications, he should manage OK soon. My son had his out and was back training 10 days later(running and ball work), played first match less than 3 weeks after surgery. It had probably been affecting him some for a little while without knowing what was really wrong.

Honestly I can't believe more hasn't been made of the fact that our squad depth isn't as bad as so many make it out to be, in the media I mean. Of course we'd like to have more quality in depth, but to be where we are despite all the injuries we've had to contend with says something about how well the players who have come in have done.

Lucas, Lamela, Foyth, Sissoko, Winks, Aurier, Sanchez and Gazzaniga have all done their part in stepping in and doing good jobs and contributing to good wins.

I just rarely see it mentioned that we're sitting where we are despite being hit with so many injuries.
